ABOUT US - Quaker Oats Retirees' Fellowship, formed in 1991, is an association of retired, ex-employees of the Quaker Oats Company, in the United Kingdom. It is a properly constituted association whose aims are to provide a social forum for all Quaker pensioners, and to seek to establish a dialogue with the management of Quaker Oats Pension Schemes in order to obtain pension reviews and equitable deals for all pensioners. All pensioners, dependent pensioners and deferred pensioners of any of the pension schemes of Quaker Oats Limited, or of its subsidiaries or associated Companies are eligible to become members. A committee member of QORF is a member nominated Trustee of the Quaker Pension Scheme.
MEMBERSHIP is vital to ensure a strong and effective future for the Quaker Oats Retirees' Fellowship. In today's international business scene no company can guarantee survival, so we must be prepared to deal with any change which could affect our Pension Scheme. Membership is open to all Quaker Oats Limited pensioners, and we would welcome applications from any national or international ex-employees.
"Colleagues Corner" is a magazine published three times a year which keeps pensioners in touch with people and events. Articles are contributed by retired colleagues and the editorial team selects items of general interest from other sources, to provide a balanced and newsy content.
